In order to use planned order management, you must have already executed the production planning. The SAP APO system generally works in conjunction with an OLTP System. An SAP Discrete Industries (DI) system is used as an OLTP system. The OLTP system provides the SAP APO system with the necessary planning data, using the CIF. The planning is done in the SAP APO system.

If you use shop-floor-oriented manufacturing in iPPE, create the process structure and the product structure. In this case, no connection to a line structure is maintained. The system uses the relationships defined in the process structure to determine the sequence in which the individual activities are to take place in shop-floor-oriented manufacturing.

Azure Storage supports using Microsoft Entra ID to authorize requests to blob data. With Microsoft Entra ID, you can use Azure role-based access control (Azure RBAC) to grant permissions to a security principal, which may be a user, group, or application service principal. The security principal is authenticated by Microsoft Entra ID to return an OAuth 2.0 token. The token can then be used to authorize a request against the Blob service.
